Welcome Banners and Holiday Decoration
Welcome to East Northport... A Growing Community banners are a Chamber beautification project which help promote our town among its residents and visitors to our community. During the Holiday Season, seasonal greeting banners and street lights are installed.
Business Card Exchanges
Each Spring a Business Card Exchange event is held. The evening includes the opportunity for each person to introduce themselves and their product or services. There is a table where participants can display brochures and other promotional materials.
Business Seminars and Networking Events
Guest speakers are invited to lecture at our General Membership Meetings on topics that will inform and educate Chamber member businesses. Topics are chosen that will help members enhance and grow their businesses. Past seminars have included Networking Techniques, the impact of the Taxpayer Relief Act and How to Increase Business through advertising and written material.

Scholarship Program
Each year the Chamber awards four scholarships to graduating seniors from John Glenn and Northport High School. The Chamber scholarships acknowledge students who have demonstrated continued growth and have made consistent progress in their academic careers.
Annual Holiday Party
We celebrate the holiday season with a fabulous Holiday Party... a festive networking event. This annual Party brings the Chamber membership and their guests together for an evening of friendship, good food and good music.
Community beautification projects
Thirty decorative flower planters sponsored by the Chamber are distributed in different locations around East Northport. These planters are seasonally planted and maintained by Chamber member businesses. The Chamber also purchased and supplied to the community attractive stone garbage receptacles. Comments from our residents:
- "I just want to express how spectacular the hanging baskets were this year. I looked forward to seeing their beauty every time I drove down Larkfield Road".
- "I'm writing to tell you how much I have enjoyed the hanging baskets of ivy geraniums suspended from the lampposts on Larkfield Rd. Thank you for the time and effort that went intot he display".
East Northport Edge Newsletter
The East Northport EDGE is a way for the Chamber to communicate with its members, local businesses and residents. The EDGE includes information about Chamber meetings and activities, including a calendar of upcoming events. The EDGE is mailed to all Chamber members and is available at local merchants and the East Northport Library.
Business Sign Grant Program
The Chamber and the Huntington Community Development Agency co-sponsored a Business Sign Grant program which gave Chamber members the opportunity to upgrade or replace their store front signs. Grants were issued to 13 businesses.
Holiday Food Drive
Chamber businesses and fellow Chamber member, The Salvation Army of East Northport work together on a Holiday Food Drive. Foods collected are distributed among local families and this effort helps to make the holidays brighter for those in need.
East Northport Festival
Our annual East Northport Festival held in the Fall provides entertainment for the whole family. The Festival provides an opportunity for the residents and visitors to get to know the local business community ... more info
Annual Golf Outing
Everyone is a winner at the Chamber’s Golf Outing! Golfers are treated to great golf, great food and a goodie bag filled with treats donated by Chamber member businesses, as well as a souvenir journal filled with pictures of all the participating golfers and the winners. Fabulous Prizes are raffled off, many of which are donated by our Chamber members and Special Awards are given out to our individual and team winners.
